Despite electric buses costing at least double diesel alternatives, we are aiming to acquire two new electric vehicles per year.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Building up gradually will enable us to gain experience and confidence so we can ensure the majority of our fleet is electric or other clean fuel technology by approximately 2030.<br \/><br \/>As well as helping to clean up the air in our towns and villages, offering electric bus travel will give our passengers an affordable greener travel option.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Net zero Our journey to net zero Transport is the largest emitting sector of greenhouse gas emissions, producing 27% of the UK\u2019s total emissions in 2019.
