HOPPA GETS ON BOARD WITH £2 FARE CAP
Waverley hoppa Community Transport is supporting the government’s campaign to encourage more people to use the bus.
Until 31 March, hoppa is capping a single fare on its hoppa Shoppa service to £2 which is a £1 saving for customers.
hoppa Shoppa operates in Farnham, Godalming, Cranleigh and Haslemere. It can be used by anybody who has a transport need regardless of age.
Richard Davies, General Manager at hoppa says: “With hoppa, you can say goodbye to waiting around at cold bus stop as we pick you up from your front door and drop you off wherever it is you want to go within your travel zone. Many people use hoppa as a way to get to the bigger supermarkets, medical appointments, the bank or to meet friends.
“We are pleased to give our backing to this initiative and hope that it tempts a few people who have never tried our service before to give us a go.”
To travel on hoppa, customers first need to register which is quick and free to do at www.hoopa.org.uk/register or call 01428 681701.
